Create an abstract background with acrylic paint

Acrylic paint on watercolor paper is a great way to create an abstract background.

Tips:

  • Mix some white acrylic paint with a few drops of Shaded Spruce and Pretty Peacock reinkers on a craft sheet. Dab some splotches on a piece of watercolor paper and more around to create abstract shapes. Allow to dry.
  • Stamp images from Botanical Layers on the dried panel with Stazon Jet Black ink.
  • Layer the panel onto Basic Black and a card base of Lost Lagoon.
  • Supplies:
    • Stamp Set: Botanical Layers
    • Cardstock: Lost Lagoon, Basic Black, Basic White, Watercolor Paper
