A Pop Up Card for Christmas

Today’s pop up card is a little different to the usual pop up. This one sits open on the desk.

Tips:

  • The card base is 29.7cm x 10.5cm scored at 14.8cm (11″ x 4¼” scored at 5½”).
  • The insert is 24.3cm x 10cm scored at 5cm, 10cm and 15cm (9¼” x 4″ scored at 2″, 4″ and 6″).
  • Attach DSP to front of card base and die cut desired shape (my circle is approximately 3″) towards the top of the card.
  • Fold the insert piece into a Z shape on the 10cm and 15cm folds. Attach the longer piece to the inside of the card. Add adhesive to the shorter piece at the other end taking care to only put the adhesive around the die cut. Close the card to attach it.
  • With the card closed, attach the lower half of the circle (or desired shape) to the insert.
  • Decorate as desired.
