How to create a pretty background with leftover pieces

What do you do with all the little leftover pieces from your projects? If you are like me you probably just put them in the trash. Today I kept all the little pieces.

Look at how great the finished card is!

Tips:

  • I attached the scraps to a piece of Basic White using Adhesive Sheets, cut it to size and ran it through the ‘hash’ Basics 3D embossing folder. It was then added to a Thick Basic White card base.
  • The image from Blessings of Home and a sentiment from Seasonal Branches were stamped on a piece of Shimmery White with Copper Clay ink. The top left and bottom right corners were punched with the Detailed Trio Punch. The art panel was then attached using Foam Adhesive Sheets.
  • Left over pieces were attached to the inside panel and envelope.
  • Supplies:
    • Stamp Set: Blessings of Home, Seasonal Branches
    • Cardstock: Thick Basic White, Shimmery White, Basic White
    • Ink: Copper Clay
    • Accessories: Basics 3D Embossing Folders, Detailed Trio Punch, Foam Adhesive Sheets
