Combining Stencils for a Clean and Simple Card

Today I am using a few different stencils (decorative masks) to create a One Layer, Clean and Simple card. Sadly these masks have retired but you could use any that you have to create a similar look.

Tips:

  • Look at the variation of colours in the butterfly on the front of the card and also on the inside and envelope. This is only one ink – Pretty Peacock. By adding the ink in soft layers, you can build up the colour and achieve a number of shades. The butterfly on the inside and envelope were created without any extra ink. I just used what was left on the brush after completing the one on the card front.
  • Supplies:
    • Stamp Set: Layering Leaves
    • Cardstock: Pretty Peacock, Basic White
    • Ink: Pretty Peacock, Soft Sea Foam
    • Accessories: Butterflies & Flowers Decorative Masks, Blending Brushes, Pastel Adhesive Backed Sequins
