Leaf Prints with White Acrylic Paint

Have you tried using fresh foliage from your garden to create prints for your cards? Today I have used some leaves from my begonias.

Tips:

  • Brayer white acrylic paint onto the front side of the leaves and press them onto a piece of Basic Black cardstock.
  • To get a good impression cover with a piece of copy paper and use the brayer for extra pressure.
  • Remove the copy paper then carefully lift the leaves and allow the cardstock to dry.
  • I added a piece of Silver Metallic Edge Ribbon along the side of the panel and then layered it onto a Thick Basic White card base.
  • The sentiment from Biggest Wish was stamped on Basic White with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and punched with the Large Oval Punch (or the Double Oval Punch).
  • Use strips of the leaf imprints on the inside of the card and the envelope.
  • Supplies:
    • Stamp Set: Biggest Wish
    • Cardstock: Thick Basic White, Basic Black, Basic White
    • Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
    • Accessories: White Acrylic Paint, Large Oval Punch, Silver Metallic Edge Ribbon, Dimensionals
