Great Ways to use the Two Tone Flora Background Die

The Two Tone Flora Bundle has some beautiful stamps and matching dies. It also has an amazing background die. Today I have four cards using this background die.

Card 1:
I used the retired 2022-2024 In Color Glimmer Paper – Tahitian Tide for the background die and Parakeet Party for the punched leaves (from the Bough Punch). The largest Deckled Rectangles Die was used on a piece of Basic White. The outside part of the rectangle die cut was coloured with Smoky Slate Dark Stampin’ Blends alcohol marker. layered over the background die cut and attached to a Thick Basic White card base. The sentiment from Layering Leaves was stamped in Smoky Slate on Basic White and die cut with one of the Nested Essential Dies. Some 2022-2024 In Color Pearls provided more sparkle.

Card 2:
This time the background die was cut from Basic White, layered onto Bright & Beautiful DSP and attached to a Thick Basic White card base. The same DSP was used to punch some flowers with the Petal Park Builder Punch. The leaves were punched from Lemon Lime Twist cardstock with the same punch. The sentiment from Layering Leaves was stamped with Berry Burst ink on matching cardstock. The bling comes from the Tinsel Gems 4 Pack.

Card 3:
This one was also die cut with Basic White cardstock and then coloured with Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers (Azure Afternoon, Balmy Blue, Shaded Spruce), layered onto Bright & Beautiful DSP and attached to a Thick Basic White cardstock. The sentiment from Go To Greetings was stamped with Azure Afternoon ink onto the same DSP and punched with the Handmade Tag Punch.

Card 4:
The die cut here was done with 2023-2025 In Color Luster Specialty Paper (Wild Wheat) and attached to a Petal Pink card base. The sentiment from Textured Floral was stamped with Wild Wheat ink on Very Vanilla cardstock and layered onto Petal Pink cardstock.
