Happy Birthday with a Brusho Background

Today I had my first play with another new product from the 2018 Occasions Catalogue – Brusho Crystal Colour.

Brusho is watercolour ink crystals which reacts / dissolves when mixed with water or other wet medium. There are five colours in the pack: Brilliant Red, Yellow, Gamboge (orange), Prussian Blue and Moss Green.

Tips:

  • Take a piece of Shimmery White cardstock and sprinkle Brilliant Red and Prussian blue Brusho lightly over the surface. Spritz with water and allow the colours to mix, then air or heat dry.
  • Emboss the Brusho panel with the Hexagons Dynamic Textured Impressions Folder. Wrap some Silver Metallic Edge Ribbon around the bottom of the panel and attach it to a Fresh Fig card base.
  • Die cut Whisper White cardstock with the Happy Birthday Thinlits, attach to the Brusho panel and add Clear Wink of Stella (alternatively use Shimmery White for the die cut).

… some dressing up on the inside using Perennial Birthday.

I would love to hear what you think of my first attempt with Brusho. Stay tuned over future weeks for some video tips and more projects.
