Tranquil Tulips for Remarkably Creative Blog Tour

Welcome to the RemARKably Creative Blog Tour for May 2017.

This month the theme is Anything New (from the upcoming 2017 Annual Catalogue).  You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog, Annette Sullivan (Lavender Thoughts), or may have come from the person previous to me in the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup in the link below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects. At the moment you are visiting Annette Sullivan (Lavender Thoughts).

This is my project.

Tips:

  • I have used one of the new Host Sets – Tranquil Tulips. This beautiful set has 22 photopolymer stamps and is a two-step set. The two-step process provides realistic 3-d images as you can see with the tulip and berry images in the above photo.
  • Other new products that I have used today:
    • Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper Stack – 40 sheets of 12″ x 12″ (4 each of 2 double-sided designs in the 5 new In Colors (Berry Burst, Fresh Fig, Lemon Lime Twist, Powder Pink and Tranquil Tide). I used one of the Lemon Lime Twist patterns on this card.
    • At Home with You stamp set – 25 photopolymer stamps with a matching set of Framelits Dies. I used the Happy Birthday sentiment on this card.
    • 2017-2019 In Color inks – I used Berry Burst, Lemon Lime Twist, and Tranquil Tide
  • Other products on the card:
    • Dapper Denim cardstock
    • Crushed Curry ink
    • Stitched Shapes Framelits and Layering Ovals Framelits
    • Gold Metallic Thread
    • Thoughtful Banners stamp set
    • Duet Banner Punch
    • Dimensionals
  • I didn’t forget the inside of the card. The Whisper White cardstock was stamped with  the small tulip and leaf images in Crushed Curry and Lemon Lime Twist inks, and a piece of DSP added across the lower part of the panel.

Thank you for visiting our blog tour. I am sure you will agree with me that there are lots of amazing ideas and inspiration for you to digest. You are at my blog Annette Sullivan (Lavender Thoughts), so click on the blue icon below to see who is next in the list.
