Special Reason Sweet Mint Bay

Have you seen the new Glimmer Paper Assortment Pack which is one of the FREE products during Sale-A-Bration?

It is so sparkly. There are 12 sheets of 6″ x 6″, 4 each of Bermuda Bay, Mint Macaron and Sweet Sugarplum.

My first project with this gorgeous paper was to create an arrangement of flowers.

Tips:

  • I used Special Reason stamp set and the matching Stylish Stems Framelits, with Bermuda Bay, Basic Black and Whisper White cardstock.
  • The flowers and leaves were stamped on Whisper White cardstock and then cut with the matching dies.
  • I used the outline dies for the leaves and flowers with the glimmer paper, and then attached them over the solid stamped images.
  • The ‘basket’ is half of one of the label dies.
  • Here is the inside of the card.

In an upcoming post, I will show you what I did with all the bits left over after cutting the leaf and flower outlines.

I would be happy to hold a workshop for you, or even an online ‘party’. Send me an email if you are interested.

  1. Thank you for your lovely comments Jeanne. If you live in Australia, I would love to be your demonstrator. Even if you don’t live here, I would be happy to be an online ‘stamping friend’.

  2. P.s. Have you seen the movie LION?? That movie was sooo good, and took place in Australia.

  3. Hello Annette!! I have been receiving your blog updates for several months now, and I just love your stamping ideas and talent. Today’s card is no exception. That flower card with the new glitter paper makes me sooooo anxious to get mine, and use those dies as well. My only problem is that all my stamping stuff is packed up and I can’t do any stamping or cutting until after we get into our new place. That is killing me right now, as I still get your blog and watch videos and look at websites — all of which I am addicted to!!!! Thank you for sharing your beautiful work online. I am a demonstrator as well, but I have no desire to recruit, although I wouldn’t mind having a few stamping friends!! Lol
Enjoy your day and thanks again. Once my demonstrator status runs out, I’ll be ordering through a demonstrator again, and I would love to order from you.
