Madonna’s Training Day

Last weekend, Madonna had a training day for her downlines. 9 of us were able to attend this great event. Madonna ‘volunteered’ Kirsty and Kirri to prepare a make and take for us to do, as well as her own.

The first one was a stationery box from Kirri. I made mine in Very Vanilla and used First Edition Speciality DSP and Timeless Portrait DSP. A piece of 3/8″ Basic Black Taffeta Ribbon and an Antique Brad in the middle of the flower punched from the Blossom Punch completed the outside of the box.

When you take the lid off, there are lots of little surprises. On the flat piece, you can see a little notebook and a pocket to hold postage stamps. The pockets on the upright part contain gift tags, gift voucher holders and cards and C6 envelopes. Don’t you think this would be a great gift package? Thank you so much Kirri.

Here you can see one of the gift tags, gift card holders and a couple of the matching cards.

The next make and take was by Kirsty. The card base is Whisper White and the layers are Basic Gray, Baja Breeze, Calypso Coral and Daffodil Delight. Images from Field Flowers were stamped in Versamark and heat embossed with White Embossing Powder. The Decorative Label Punch created a shape to highlight the sentiment on the base card. The embossed layer was attached with dimensionals. Thanks Kirsty for more great inspiration.

The final make and take was by Madonna who used the Pedal Presents Hostess set from the mini Catalogue (which finishes on 31 July). This gorgeous card uses Confetti White for the base. The main layer is Crumb Cake, with pieces of Pool Party, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White, Pool Party DSP, and the Daffodil Delight DSP which comes from the Party Animals Simply Scrappin’ Kit. Silver mini brads were used in the centre of the wheels. The sun was double punched with the 1-3/4″ Scallop Circle Punch, the centre of the sun was punched with the 1″ Circle Punch, the clouds with the Cupcake Builder Punch, and the little flower with the Scallop shape from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack. Thank you Madonna for a great card and a wonderful day.

Enjoy
