Christmas is only 6 months away. Before we know it, we will be posting our Christmas cards. Well, before we can do that, we need to have the cards to send. Lesley Croghan has the right idea. She has a sketch challenge each Monday to create a Christmas card. This week is her 26th challenge and my first.
This is the sketch this week.
I used a base of Whisper White and created some texture using the Color Spritzer and an Elegant Eggplant marker. A piece of Whisper White was put through the Petals-a-Plenty EF and layered onto Elegant Eggplant. The Christmas tree and some words and images from Season of Joy were stamped and fussy cut and then added to complete the sketch.
I love the splattering on the background that matches the pretty tree! What fun sentiments too! Glad you joined us at Merry Monday!
